Universities Investing in Museum Renovations #

Several universities in the United States, including Michigan State University, Yale University, New York University, Princeton, Penn State, and Utah State University, are spending significant amounts of money to revamp their museums. Despite the financial challenges faced by many museums and colleges, these institutions and donors are focused on making their museums more relevant and engaging for visitors. While the exact number of college museums is uncertain, the Association of Academic Museums and Galleries estimates that there are 659 such museums in the country. University museums are undertaking renovations and expansions to ensure their continued relevance and to create welcoming spaces for their communities.
